His Church Can Rise Up

Today The Church can rise above, through God’s power and His Love. She can rise up to the task at hand, and for The Lord can take a stand. My friend, even in the darkest nights, we can rise up to greater heights. For we can rise up in Christ’s Victory, as we march forward to Eternity.
Jesus Christ will build His Church, and build it upon The Savior’s worth. She’s not built upon an earthly frame, but built upon Her Savior’s Name.Jesus Christ the very Cornerstone, guides His Church from His Throne. For His Church, Jesus Christ alone, is her foundation and the capstone.
He’s the Groom and we’re the Bride, and His Church will not be denied. He’s creating a Holy Priesthood friend, of whose service will never end.We my friends are the living stones, bought and placed by Christ alone, We’re being built into a spiritual house, by the Church’s Eternal Spouse.
Even though darkened forces rail, the gates of Hades shall not prevail.Christ’s Victory we can proclaim, through the power of His Holy Name.We need to rise up above the night, and lift up high Christ’s Holy Light. We can rise above every situation, and point the world to His salvation.
Very soon The Church will surly rise, to meet The Savior up in the skies, Dear friend Satan is the defeated foe, and this we need to let men know.So we need to rise up and tell all men, that Satan is the one condemned, And when they join The Church of Christ, they too shall gain Eternal Life.

Stories of faith and conversion from the warfrontPosted: 05 Dec 2007 01:11

The events of that morning for Fr. Bautista included a Mass he had just conducted in Ramadi at a Marine detachment. What made the Mass unique, was that his “congregation” consisted of one lonely Catholic Marine. When Father Bautista arrived in Ramadi along with his personal bodyguard, a strong young, well-armed Marine, he visited a detachment of eight men, only one of whom was Catholic. Undeterred, he told the Marine he would be happy to say Mass for him.The young Marine confided to him, “You know Father, back in the States, I didn’t go to Mass that often, but out here I find myself longing to go to Mass again. But I’ve been here for seven months and you’re the first Catholic chaplain I’ve seen.” Fr. Bautista spent some time listening to his story and asking questions about his family. Then he said Mass for this single Marine, in the presence of countless angels and saints who rejoiced with them.As Fr. Bautista continued speaking with us, he described the fascinating story of a young Muslim woman who was entering the Church under his guidance through the RCIA process. Her story was moving. While working with Americans, this woman, who must remain anonymous, was touched deeply when she realized that the U.S. medical personnel not only treated wounded Americans and Iraqi civilians, but also treated wounded enemy combatants, including one who was known for having killed U.S. Marines. As she put it, “This cannot happen with us.” This dramatic extension of mercy even to enemy soldiers caused her to take the next cautious step. She asked Father Bautista to “tell me more about Jesus.” As Father described Jesus and his life in the Gospels, one thing stood out among the rest for the Muslim woman he called “Fatima” (not her real name) and that was how kindly Jesus had related to, as she put it, “the two Mary’s.” Fatima was moved to see how Jesus deeply loved Mary, his mother, who was sinless, but also how Jesus deeply loved Mary Magdalene, who was “a great sinner.” As these discussions continued, Fatima reached a point where she said to Father Bautista, “I want to become a Christian.”

As their catechetical lessons developed over time, Fatima’s family discovered her plan and was warned sternly by her father that if she continued on this path, she would be disowned by the entire family and would never have contact with them again. At this point, Father Bautista became concerned for Fatima’s well-being and cautioned her to look carefully at the consequences of her decision and to think seriously before continuing her path into the Church.Fatima paused for a moment and then looking intently at Father Bautista asked, “Do you give up so easily on Jesus?” The question took Father aback for a moment, but then he thought, “This is incredible; this Muslim woman is already bearing witness to me about how important my own faith is!” As he related it, this woman’s question had caused him to give greater thanks for his faith and for the great privilege of sharing Christ with others. Fatima is currently continuing the RCIA process with great courage and joy.

Spain has entered “an unprecedented demographic winter”

History is proving how right the Church was in her Teachings on contraception and abortion:Spain has lost two million young people in last 20 yearsThe president of the Institute for Family Policy in Spain, Eduardo Hertfelder, is warning that Spain has entered “an unprecedented demographic winter” due to the loss of two million young people over the last 20 years....................After pointing out that Spain is the country with the fastest aging population in the EU, Hertfelder criticized the government for not implementing policies that foster more births and support the family.“The future of society, no matter which aspect is considered, whether social, economic, etc., is based on young people, and if young people disappear, society disappears. To opt for immigration as a solution to the problem, without resolving the problem of the lack of births, is to not solve the problem,” he said.http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=13838

There was a protest at the annual homosexual march yesterday in Belfast.

There was a protest at the annual homosexual march yesterday in Belfast.Free Presbyterian Church members were among those who staged a protest over the event outside the city hall. Ian Paisley past Moderator of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster preaches against homosexuality and supports laws criminalising its practice. Intertwining his religious and political views, "Save Ulster from Sodomy" was a campaign launched by Paisley in 1977, in opposition to the Campaign for Homosexual Law Reform (Northern Ireland), established in 1974. Paisley's campaign sought to prevent the extension to Northern Ireland of the Sexual Offences Act 1967 which had decriminalised homosexual acts between males over 21 years of age in England and Wales. The campaign failed when legislation was passed in 1982 as a result of the previous year's ruling by the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Dudgeon v United Kingdom. However, in 1988, when Pope John Paul II delivered a speech to the European Parliament, Paisley shouted "I Denounce you as the AntiChrist!" and held up a red poster reading "Pope John Paul II ANTICHRIST" in black letters. John Paul continued with his address after Paisley was ejected from the hemicycle by fellow MEPs. This was all to do with the Roman Catholic belief in transubstantiation, and idolatrous abuses.I agree with the Free Presbyterian Church who had these good men and women protesting against the homosexuals in Belfast. It is a pity there are differences in opinion with that church, in the theological definition of transubstantiation, and that of worshiping false idols. The bread and wine has special significance in the holy mass because Jesus told us to remember him in this way, so it empowers when we receive him. The statues in Roman Catholic Churches are there to remind us of Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Apostles and all the Saints, we don’t worship the statuette. Since about the year 100 Christian Art has been produced alongside its writings, it is beautiful, nobody is being AntiChrist in the Roman Catholic Church just by having a Christian painting, mosaic or a statue. It is the allurement of the serpent who is the devil.

Tiger Wood's Car Crash

Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident early Friday outside his Florida mansion, and a local police chief said his wife used a golf club to smash out the back window and help get the world’s No. 1 golfer out of the SUV.Woods was treated and released from a hospital in good condition, his spokesman said. The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods’ vehicle hit a fire hydrant and a tree in his neighbor’s yard as he pulled out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m.Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor told The Associated Press that officers found the 33-year-old PGA star laying in the street with his wife, Elin, hovering over him.She told officers she was in the house when she heard the accident and “came out and broke the back window with a golf club.”Woods had lacerations to his upper and lower lips, and he had blood in his mouth, Saylor said. The chief said Woods was in and out of consciousness when his two officers arrived. He said the officers held Woods to the ground and “when he woke up, he tried to get up and lost consciousness.”He said officers treated Woods for 10 minutes until an ambulance arrived. The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods was alone in his 2009 Cadillac when he pulled out of his driveway from his mansion at Isleworth, a gated waterfront community just outside Orlando..........

Man who shot Pope John Paul II to be released, wants to meet Pope Benedict

Mehmet Ali Agca, who shot Pope John Paul II four times in St. Peter's Square on May 13, 1981, is eligible for release next month, January 2010.Agca was originally sentenced to life in prison for the shooting, but was pardoned in June 2000 by Italian president Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, with the Pope's blessings. Pope John Paul II had met with Agca in prison on Dec. 27, 1983 and forgave him. Agca spent 19 years and one month in the Italian prison. At the time of his release, Vatican spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls told RAI television "regarding the truth of what happened May 13 1981, history can still uncover many things". Agca is currently seeking Polish citizenship, and a Rome Reports video from May 2009 states Agca "will be released next January."Pope Benedict, who was attacked by a crazed woman at Midnight Mass December 24th, , is said to be doing fine. 87 year old Roger Marie Élie Cardinal Etchegaray , however, fell down and broke his femur in the attack, which can be an injury with very serious consequences for elderly people. In March 2006, An Italian parliamentary commission officially concluded that the U.S.S.R. was behind Agca's 1981 assassination attempt of Pope John Paul II. BBC quoted from the commission's findings, which read in part "This commission believes, beyond all reasonable doubt, that the leaders of the USSR took the initiative to eliminate Pope Karol Wojtyla".Before shooting the Pope in 1981, Agca had spent time in an Istanbul prison for the February 1, 1979 murder of journalist Abdi Ipekci, but had escaped from the Turkish prison after six months. Thus, he was extradicted and flown directly from Rome in 2006 to complete his prison sentence in Turkey. Controversy also surrounded the murder of Ipekci, largely because of Agca's involvement with intelligence operations tied to the U.S. CIA. Agca was "known to have been a member of the Turkish ultra-nationalist Grey Wolves organization".
